SHVFD Turkey Shoot

1. Only stock, plain, unaltered meat guns allowed (12, 16, or 20ga.)

2. 36" or less barrel lengths allowed.

3. Factory turkey chokes allowed (.670 and above for 12 ga., .620 and above for 16 ga., or .570 and above for 20 ga)

4. Scopes or magnified sights are not allowed, open sights only.

5. All winners guns will be inspected.

6. Ammunition (shotgun shells) will be provided by the Fire Department. One shell will be supplied at the time of the shoot. No exceptions.

7.  No alcohol allowed.

8. No profanity please.

9. All participants should be registered prior to participation.

10. There will be 10 shooters per round and no one is allowed near the shooting tables unless they are shooting. Shooters need to stand back from the tables until they are told to fire.

11. Do not load your firearm until you are told to do so.

12. When the shooter is finished, leave action open and step back from the shooting table. Do not leave your table until everyone has finished shooting.

13. All judging is final.

14. Tie shots will be decided by an new target shoot.

15. Please remember this is a family event. Please keep it safe, clean, and fun for everyone.
